Auberge du Pommier
4150 Yonge St, Toronto

Rustic Rating: A must visit!
Price Range: The restaurant is pricey. Average 3 course meal with drinks is approximately $100pp

I was privileged to celebrate my birthday at Auberge du Pommier which is one of the many superb restaurants under the umbrella of Oliver Bonacini. The restaurant specializes in French cuisine which is served with perfection in a tranquil, calm and exquisite cottage ambiance.
The menu is seasonal and it’s worth every penny to try out this restaurant at least twice a year to enjoy both their Summerlicious and Winterlicious offerings.
We enjoyed our meal on the terrace which had the perfect amount of shade with beautiful floral arrangements, rustic floors and a pleasing combination of white and lemon decor.
I must make a special mention on the superior service this restaurant offers. With just a mention of a nut allergy, the staff were exceptionally attendant. Our server meticulously explained each item we chose off the menu, gave his honest suggestions depending on our personal tastes, was extremely knowledgeable of the huge wine selection and yet, was not over bearing at all.
We definitely have Auberge du Pommier on our list of top favourites.

Take a look at what we ate

Bone-in lamb shank, surrounded by a pool of black-olive jus.
Accompanying were lamb croquettes, white anchovy, grilled romaine and a touch of polenta.

Filet Mignon which was cooked to perfection

Divine cheesecake surrounded by fresh fruit
